House of Bread and Peace changes lives in Evansville

Sr. Joanna Trainer, a Benedictine sister, brought her vision to reality in 1984 when she purchased a house that would become the home needed to shelter women and their children as they began their journey to change their lives. The House can accommodate 22 to 26 individuals, with several rooms available for women with children.

Open House by Matthew Mazzotta

This house in Alabama folds open to provide seating for an open-air performance space (+ movie).

Sections of the house-shaped structure designed by artist  Matthew Mazzotta  are hinged and unfold to reveal rows of seating inside the walls and under the roof.
